In 2026, American Cinema Editors honored legendary film editor Robert Leighton, ACE, with the Career Achievement Award.
A defining collaborator of Rob Reiner and Christopher Guest, Leighton helped shape iconic films including This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, and The American President, as well as Guest’s Best in Show.
